About the position Position/Specialty: OR RN The unit specializes in the care of Ophthalmology patients. Shift: Will work 6am- 430pm Weekend REQ: N/A Is on-call REQ (Y/N): No Holiday rotation may be required Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities possibility of floating within Periop facility Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years (ophthalmology exp required) First-timers accepted: No Certs REQ: BLS Radiation Badge REQ: Yes **radiation badge must be provided by agency** Trauma Level REQ: N/A Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on units needs Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes will be considered one case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Outpatient Service Center-Chuck Dawley Scrub Color: Provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September
