Location: Panama City FL 32401
Shift: 12 hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
Under general supervision the Cardiovascular Technologist prepares and operates equipment assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. This includes specialized radiographic procedures to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency across various anatomical regions. The role supports patient care and contributes to the efficient operation of the lab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional equipment.
- Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Perform radiographic procedures of a specialized nature.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring as required.
- Support patient care and provide assistance to patients and family members.
- Ensure smooth workflow and general efficiency in the lab.
- Transport patients to and from procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Specials Vascular or Cardiac Cath Lab required.
- Registered Radiologic Technician in the state of Florida.
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 60 days of start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
