Job Summary
Job Summary (Senior ServiceNow Developer)
- Lead design development and customization of ServiceNow modules (ITSM ITOM ITBM CSM GRC HRSD App Engine).
- Develop and implement complex workflows and automation using ServiceNow tools (Flow Designer Workflow Editor Business Rules).
- Architect and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools (REST/SOAP APIs Integration Hub MID Server Web Services).
- Design optimize and maintain Service Portal UI Customization and Mobile Experiences.
- Implement and manage CMDB Discovery Asset Management and Event Management for ITOM solutions.
- Lead platform instance upgrades patching performance tuning and governance.
- Develop and enforce security models (ACLs domain separation encryption).
- Create and optimize Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts for platform stability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders business analysts and architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
- Maintain documentation of best practices development guidelines and system configurations.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in JavaScript Glide API Jelly AngularJS and UI frameworks.
- Work with Scoped/Custom Applications App Engine Development and ServiceNow Security.
- Possess strong knowledge of ITIL ITSM governance best practices and experience with ServiceNow integrations (SAP Workday Jira Azure).
- Utilize ServiceNow Performance Analytics Reporting and Dashboards.
- Support platform upgrades and automation familiar with Agile/Scrum DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders leadership and guide junior team members.
- Required certifications: ServiceNow CSA and CAD; preferred: CIS certifications ITIL v4 Agile.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
- Experience: 7 10 years in ServiceNow development with upgrade support for at least 2 major releases.
