Job Summary

Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Level: Analyst / Senior Analyst
Operating Group: CN SC&O Data & AI
Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon / Mumbai / Hyderabad Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Repos Pipelines and Artifacts).
Automate build test and deployment processes for both cloud and on-premises applications.
Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
Ensure consistency scalability and reliability of environments across development staging and production.
Manage and monitor Azure resources such as VMs AKS App Services Azure SQL and Storage Accounts.
Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring automation and proactive issue resolution.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell Bash or Python to streamline operations.
Integrate automated testing and quality checks within CI/CD workflows.
Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud and pipeline configurations including secrets management using Azure Key Vault.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to support end-to-end software delivery.
Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics.
Analyze logs and metrics to identify troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Certifications in Azure DevOps or Cloud Technologies (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).

Experience

2 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps (Repos Pipelines Boards Artifacts).
Experience with Azure Cloud Services such as App Services AKS Functions Networking Storage and SQL.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor Grafana Prometheus Log Analytics or ELK.
Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell Bash or Python.

Key Competencies and Skills

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines agile development and release management best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration workflows.
Strong knowledge of cloud security compliance and governance practices.
Excellent troubleshooting optimization and automation skills for cloud infrastructure and deployments.
