Job Summary

Role: Software Tester (Accounting Systems)
Structure: 12 Month contract to hire

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Consulting clients in a contract to hire capacity!

What Were Looking For:

3 years of software testing experience preferably in financial services.
Strong knowledge of financial modules (GL AP/AR) and accounting principles (GAAP).
Experience with test automation tools (Selenium Cypress etc.) and testing platforms (Jira TestRail).
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
Highly organized detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
ISTQB or Scrum certification is a plus.

Job Overview / Responsibilities:

Conduct end-to-end testing for Oracle Fusion ERP EPM accounting modules.
Validate accounting data flow reports and integrations with internal systems.
Develop and execute test plans document results and manage defects.
Collaborate with Finance IT and vendors to ensure successful system deployment.
Support go-live activities and post-implementation validation.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting systems and financial processes. GAAP
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (preferably Oracle Fusion ERP EPM).
Proven experience in software testing QA methodologies and documentation.

Top 3 Nice-to-Have Skills:

Background in finance or accounting (CPA or equivalent exposure).
Experience with automation testing tools or test management systems.
Familiarity with integration testing across multiple enterprise platforms.
