Tekberry is looking for a Software Engineer I to work on-site with our client a leading global manufacturing company. In this role you will join a collaborative team supporting the development and deployment of operational technology software in a manufacturing environment. You will design build and integrate software applications that connect production equipment with factory systems helping drive automation efficiency and innovation. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and implement software solutions for equipment integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements.
Develop applications to integrate manufacturing equipment into factory systems based on operational strategies.
Conduct system testing troubleshooting and validation to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Support software deployment and provide technical assistance for equipment integration issues.
Document and maintain software configurations processes and standard procedures.
Travel (up to 25% including international) for software deployment or site support as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.
0 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or related roles.
Experience with data historians (preferably AVEVA PI).
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other visualization tools.
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and tools.
Experience with relational databases and data analysis.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

Familiarity with industrial automation systems (ISA-95 PLC OPC SCADA MES ERP Historian CMMS).
Knowledge of message bus architectures and related technologies.
Experience in enterprise application design and maintenance.
Exposure to manufacturing systems integration and process automation.
