Job Summary
Job Summary Senior Network Engineer (Palo Alto SME)
- Design implement and maintain Palo Alto firewall stacks and global network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage secure connectivity between data centers trading partners and offices.
- Collaborate with the security team on network controls safety policies and compliance requirements.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize network performance especially in a live trading environment.
- Document network topology and changes; maintain accurate configurations and records.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotation for network and security support.
- Support both network engineering and security initiatives ensuring operational and infrastructure needs are met.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Palo Alto Networks technology within the organization.
- Work onsite in NYC at least 3 days per week in a hybrid capacity.
- Engage with cross-functional teams (security server platforms systems administration) throughout the project lifecycle.
