Job Summary

Role: EWIS Engineer

Location: Bremen Germany

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) Engineer with strong expertise in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE tools for design and development of electrical harnesses and wiring systems for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of aircraft wiring harnesses routing and installation using CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Preparation of 2D/3D models wiring diagrams and installation drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (EWIS AS50881).
  • Support integration of electrical systems into aircraft structures.
  • Perform design reviews resolve design issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support harness build and installation.
  • Maintain documentation BOMs and configuration control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in EWIS harness design.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE (Electrical Harness Design Electrical Routing modules).
  • Good knowledge of aerospace wiring standards and regulations.
  • Experience in change management configuration and PLM tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements.
  • Exposure to certification requirements (CS25/FAR25).
