You will bring strong civil engineering knowledge and quality management experience from the Oil & Gas or related industries. Youll be analytical organised and comfortable managing quality assurance processes in complex projects.
Essential requirements:
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas or a similar engineering environment
- Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control.
- Engineering degree (Civil preferred) or relevant technical diploma
- Strong understanding of QA/QC codes and standards (e.g. ACI CSWIP ISO ASME AWS)
- Experience developing QC procedures conducting inspections and managing audits
- Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Desirable:
- Professional QA/QC certification
- Experience liaising with regulatory bodies and third-party certification authorities
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role youll coordinate and supervise civil quality control activities in line with project quality plans inspection and test plans (ITPs) and safety standards. Youll also help identify and resolve quality issues maintain compliance and contribute to continuous improvement across operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise civil QC activities on-site and at workshops
- Develop inspection procedures and non-conformance management processes
- Review contractor and vendor documentation for compliance
- Conduct technical audits and liaise with external validation authorities
- Support resource planning for inspections and quality activities
- Prepare quality performance reports and escalate key risks
- Participate in project quality and safety meetings
