PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as overall architect and network solutions advisor to Crayolas internal business partners as well as assisting with parent company (HMK) and external partners projects in support of business requirements.
Coordinate the physical installation and upgrade of routers switches VPN appliances proxies wireless video voice firewalls and other network related equipment in support of Crayolas global Network. Implement future LAN/WAN technologies such as SDWAN and integrate on-prem and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/SAP/etc) as required.
Integrate Crayolas Wide Area Network (WAN) with its Local Area Networks (LANs) including future disaster recovery sites; plan design and install connecting LANs; assist in maintaining high level LAN/WAN integrity with high availability/redundancy; and configure new LAN equipment connections.
Assist Snr I&O Manager to develop yearly budget planning and ensure adherence to this budget taking corrective action as necessary.
Maintain and configure WAN for optimum efficiency; collect and analyze WAN performance statistics; implement future WAN technologies; and make recommendations to Crayola Snr I&O Manager.
Troubleshoot and resolve multiple complex network service devices; network security devices; and telecommunications services that require escalation from network support; recommend solutions to mitigate future issues.
Document troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for hardware and network problems.
Conduct testing of new/future technologies to keep Crayola up to date with technical needs/requirements.
Partner with Hallmark Information Security and Hallmark Network solutions to drive Crayola initiatives and Hallmark requests of Crayola.
Perform long-range capacity planning; make configuration enhancement and security recommendations.
Create and maintain VPN information IP address management and tracking and firewall rule-set administration/maintenance
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in computer science information systems field and/or related college degree (Required).
Minimum of 10 years experience in design/architecture of Network Management and implementation.
Applicable industry certifications (at least one required; multiple is preferred)
CCNP Routing & Switching certificate
CCDA/CCDP
CCNA/CCNP Security
CCNA/CCNP Wireless certifications
CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
(or equivalent certificate)
Required Cisco Experience (installing configuring and maintaining)
Catalyst and Nexusseries switch platform
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA)
Cisco Wireless LAN Controller(WLC)
Cisco Digital Network Architecture(DNA)
Preferred Cisco Experience (installing configuring and maintaining)
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
Must have excellent written & verbal communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must have good documentation analytical design/architectural decision-making skills.
The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
Accountable for all day-to-day decision making for network specifications maintenance capacity planning configuration and upgrades.
Maintaining confidentiality treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.
Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment with consultants vendors and others.
Ability to respond to issues on 24/7 basis. Ability to participate in on-call rotation for afterhours support.
Some travel is required.
