Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedPythonDeveloperto join our this role you will work closely with clinical technical and product teams to ensure seamless datainteroperabilitybetween internal and third-party health systems. Your expertise will help transform clinical and operationalworkflowsinto robust technicalintegration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR-based integration pipelines
Implement and supportRESTfulFHIR APIs for internal and external use
Enable bi-directional data exchange with EHR systems (e.g. Epic Cerner)
Collaborate withDevOpsteams for deployment and monitoring of integrations
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security protocols ()

Requirements

3 years ofsoftware developmentexperience (Pythonpreferred).
2 years working with healthcareinteroperabilitystandards (FHIR and HL7 v2)
Strong experience withPython frameworks( orDjango)
Proficient inRESTful APIdevelopment and integration
Experienceparsingand generatingJSONXML HL7 v2 messages
Database skills:SQL(PostgreSQL/Oracle)
Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies: SNOMED CT LOINC ICD-10
Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g. Rhapsody)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
