Job Summary

Position: SAP S/4 HANA Production Planning Functional Consultant
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite)
Experience: 810 Years (Preferred)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description:

Design and configure the SAP Production Planning (PP) module implementation within S/4 HANA to meet business requirements.
Collaborate closely with other SAP module consultants (MM FI EWM) to ensure seamless cross-functional integration.
Provide hands-on expertise in MRP and Live MRP including configuration and optimization using various planning strategies.
Participate in all phases of SAP S/4 HANA project lifecycle-requirements gathering system design configuration testing documentation delivery and postgo-live support.
Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and propose system enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
Work with business users to provide training and ensure smooth adoption of PP functionalities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical and functional expertise for production issues.

Required Skills:

Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP PP within S/4 HANA.
Proven experience integrating PP with MM FI and EWM modules.
In-depth understanding of MRP Production Orders BOM Routing Capacity Planning and Shop Floor Control.
Hands-on experience in Live MRP and advanced planning strategies.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects preferred.
