Storable is seeking a VP of Engineering who will also serve as our Center Head for our Storable India team located in the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad India. This leader will be part of the Storable Engineering leadership team reporting to the Storable Chief Technology Officer and helping to establish and run the addition Center Head will also lead multiple engineering teams working with product management product development cloud operations and customer support teams to ensure goals are met that drive innovation and customer success.

As Center Head for Storable India you will:

• 70% time leading building and developing world-class engineering teams
• 30% of time serving as Site Lead providing executive oversight for site productivity collaboration facilities management and team culture in partnership with the Director of People Operations
• Own engineering strategy and execution for India across multiple product lines ensuring architectural alignment platform modernization and delivery excellence in partnership with global engineering leadership
• Drive the evolution of Storables technology roadmap spanning APIs cloud infrastructure security automation frameworks and engineering best practices
• Define and uphold engineering standards for scalability resilience and performance across India-led initiatives ensuring global consistency with Storables long-term platform architecture.
• Serve as a key contributor to global architecture decisions influencing long-term platform direction technical standards and cross-vertical integration strategy.

• Evangelize the Storable Brand in the local community
• Serve as a stakeholder in the Global Talent Acquisition process to help attract a continuous pipeline of top tier talent across multiple functions
• Establish a working culture that embraces the core values of Storable
• Create the mechanisms and programs required to engage develop and retain talent
• Provide leadership that connects every individuals work with the goals and KPIs established for the product operations and business

• Develop the next generation of leaders

• Provide both technical and operational leadership to the India teams

• Support management of the product life cycle (operations release development QA support) for our portfolio of products IT operations customer success and cloud operations
• Work in conjunction with cross-regional leadership teams to establish and direct development processes and methodology.

• Empower teams as required to drive continuous innovation and customer success

• Create and manage an outcome-driven mindset aligned with business priorities and working ethos

• Establish accountability for product and operational metrics and continually manage teams against them
• Explore opportunities to leverage modern technologies to more effectively achieve outcomes and drive efficiencies on a global scale

Requirements:

• Shared value and passion for Storable Groups mission
• 20 years total experience in software development with at least 10 of those years bing in senior management roles of software product engineering teams working with global product companies
• Deep knowledge experience and connections in the local Indian tech industry

• Experience building an organization from scratch is a plus
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering Math or related field
• Expert understanding of software development processes and lifecycle
• Solid understanding of customer support processes and lifecycle
• Agile leader and learner committed to continual improvement and delivery of customer impact

• Demonstrated change and transformation leadership
• Ability to acquire and develop talent and build a culture of transparency and engagement
• Customer-facing communication skills including the ability to diffuse and manage customer escalations
• Track record of delivering high-quality results on time and under aggressive timelines and budgets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication skills

• Continual assessment refinement maturation implementation and enforcement of engineering excellence and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage significant budgets vendors and contract relationships
