Raytheons SI&T Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate is seeking a Sr. Radar Systems Regression Engineer who will support systems regression test activities primarily in Woburn MA in support of radar capability development integration regression and test activities. You will be responsible for the regression testing of software capabilities in advanced radar systems. Candidates in the role can expect to develop an understanding of radar platforms gain an understanding of system integration test principles and exportability techniques to ensure successful implementation. You will work independently and side-by-side with multidisciplinary engineering team members.
What You Will Do:
Perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
Execute regression testing plans and procedures according to defined tasks milestones/schedules.
Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration verification regression and test activities.
Confirm regression test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design development testing and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of radar capabilities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience executing integration regression test methodology or other simulation-based environment data analysis and skilled with basic scripting and/or software development (MATLAB Python Perl C/C Unix Linux (Red Hat Linux)
Systems engineering experience specifically including integration verification regression and system testing.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience using String/HWIL test equipment and integrating or regression testing radar systems.
Experience with MATLAB Python Perl Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat) Unix and Shell scripting for performing integration verification and test analysis integrating and configuring electronics installing/debugging software.
Knowledge of radar algorithms and determining radar performance.
Experience with creating test plans and test scripts.
Experience integrating or regression testing with domestic and foreign military sales product configurations individually and in a team environment
Experience with MS Office Suite.
Strong individual integration skills team interaction and communication skills team technical trouble-shooting skills and willingness to perform local and non-local travel.
Certifications in CompTIA Network and or CompTIA Security
