An excellent opportunity exists within the FAIT Labor Organization as a Proposal Analyst. The estimating organization is responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing addition the Estimating Organization supports gate reviews government audits and negotiations with the customer.

What You Will Do

Be responsible for the development analysis and completion of labor proposals
Work with other functions from across the company to understand and evaluate the labor and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and the associated program
Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
Lead the development of recurring operations labor Basis of Estimates to include tracking progress validating actuals analyzing projected labor indices and part level history ensuring consistency across programs and confirming the estimating approach is sound
Ensure proposals comply with all FAR and internal requirements
Assess develop and implement solutions leading to a thorough touch labor estimate
Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness in our labor estimates

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products (ex. Word PowerPoint Excel)

Qualifications We Prefer

Strong organization and analytical skills
The ability to work well in teams with peers and management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to consistently meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment
Knowledge and experience with proposal development price buildup and estimating and pricing processes
Knowledge of and/or experience with federal proposal regulations including but not limited to: FAR DFAR TINA

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
