Job Description

What you will be doing: Physical Therapist

Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs preferences and goals.
Actively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans.
Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans.
Provide active and passive exercise muscle re-education gait functional training of ADLs and treatments including massage heat sound water light or electricity.
Supervise Therapy Assistants providing training instruction and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP).
Provide training and instruction to staff participants and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipment.

Experience you will need: Physical Therapist

Bachelors degree in physical therapy; masters or doctoral degree preferred.
Two (2) years in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population preferred.
Valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of license eligibility.
Current CPR certification preferred.
Experience in outpatient acute inpatient or skilled nursing settings is ideal.
