Job Summary

Naumi Hotels is on the lookout for a General Manager to lead our Naumi Wellington property a boutique gem in the heart of the capital that brings art heart and exceptional service together under one playful roof.

To be successful in this key leadership role you will have proven experience adapting to changing markets inspiring teams around you to excel in service excellence creating synergy between corporate brand direction and local community engagement.

Somewhat you will do.

  • Provide strong leadership to all hotel teams fostering a culture of excellence teamwork and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations ensuring service excellence and smooth delivery across all departments.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service quality cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel
  • Lead inspire and grow a dynamic team that embodies Naumis people-first culture
  • Creating a workplace culture where creativity accountability and genuine care thrive
  • Manage the hotels budget control costs and optimize revenue through effective pricing and marketing strategies
  • Ensure the hotel complies with all relevant laws regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborating closely with the Naumi regional and support teams across People & Performance Revenue and Marketing

  • Proven experience as a Hotel or General Manager (ideally in lifestyle/boutique hotels)
  • Strong operational and commercial acumen with a track record of hitting performance targets
  • A passion for guest experience and service excellence that feels personal not procedural

  • Adaptability and energy to thrive in a creative fast-paced environment
