Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive mental health care including assessments diagnosis treatment planning and therapy for individuals families and groups. Utilize evidence-based practices and ensure care aligns with ethical cultural and regulatory standards. Collaborate with families and professionals to support patient treatment goals and ensure patient safety.
Clinical Care
Conduct psychosocial and diagnostic assessments; diagnose per DSM standards.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual couples family and group therapy including crisis intervention.
Utilize evidence-based practices and make referrals as needed.
Engage collateral sources (family friends agencies) to support treatment.
Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate care.
May perform Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or court-related evaluations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with treatment goals.
Qualifications
Education:
Masters degree in Social Work Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy with a clinical/mental health focus.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
One year of experience with the sites specific population preferred.
Licensure:
Iowa: LISW LMFT LMHC
Illinois: LCPC LCSW LMFT
Wisconsin: LCSW LMFT LPC
