ISP Spanish Primary Teacher Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The Spanish Teacher is responsible for teaching and promoting the development of language reading and writing skills in Spanish while fostering creativity communication and cultural appreciation. This role supports students academic and personal growth through engaging student-centered instruction aligned with the schools curriculum and educational philosophy.

ISP Teacher Assistant Key Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver Spanish lessons in alignment with the elementary curriculum and academic standards.
Teach reading writing grammar spelling and oral communication skills in Spanish.
Design activities and projects that develop comprehension critical thinking and creative expression.
Assess record and report student progress providing constructive feedback and academic support.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance language learning.
Encourage an appreciation for Hispanic culture literature and traditions through dynamic learning experiences.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development programs meetings and school events.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies safeguarding practices and professional standards.
Skills Qualifications and Experience
Skills
Strong command of the Spanish language both written and spoken.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Creativity in lesson design and teaching strategies.
Empathy patience and enthusiasm for working with children.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Primary Education.
Teaching certification or equivalent credentials.
Proficiency in English (intermediate or higher preferred).
Experience
Minimum of 12 years of teaching experience at the elementary level preferred.
Experience developing lesson plans and adapting instruction for different learning styles.
Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning methodologies.
