| Job Description: | The OPS Instructional Designer (Accessibility-Focused) will assist with course design digital media development and accessibility review ensuring all instructional materials meet UF and federal accessibility standards. Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate with instructional designers faculty and media specialists to develop
engaging pedagogically sound online learning experiences. - Review and revise existing course content to ensure compliance with accessibility
standards (WCAG 2.1 Section 508 UF Accessibility Guidelines). - Create and edit course content in the Canvas learning management system including
modules assignments assessments and multimedia. - Use accessibility tools such as SensusAccess and UFs captioning services to create
accessible versions of PDFs documents and video content. - Add or verify closed captions alt text and transcripts for video and audio materials.
- Support faculty with accessibility best practices and assist in developing guides or
training resources. - Conduct accessibility audits of online course materials and report findings to the ETC
team. - Assist with ongoing instructional design projects digital content creation and quality
assurance reviews.

- Strong attention to detail organization and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Interest in instructional design educational media and accessibility compliance.
