What youll do:
- Under the general supervision of the Manager for Pulmonary Laboratories the Pulmonary Labs Coordinator (PLC) is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Pulmonary Laboratories Department while also performing clinical duties as a Pulmonary Labs Technologist when needed. This dual function role includes staff and patient scheduling leading monthly staff meetings with agenda preparation and documentation of minutes procedure development performance improvement initiatives staff training and streamlining operational workflows. The PLC monitors staff performance and provides feedback to support continuous development. Additionally the role involves ensuring compliance with medical center policies and procedures related to bronchoscopy services and collaborating with key physician groups and clinical support teams to support program development for new procedures and services within the Bronchoscopy Lab.

What youll need for this job:
REQUIRED
- Associate degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
- 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT)
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT)
- Current Respiratory Care License from the State of Illinois
- Managerial Experience: 1-2 years
PREFERRED
- Bachelors degree
- Specify Degree(s): Completion of accredited respiratory care program
- 6-10 years of previous job-related experience
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- EPIC
- Microsoft Suite

Pay Range: $36.50 - $48.84 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
