Here at DXC Technology we continue to grow our SAP Practice. We are seeking an accomplished SAP S/4HANA HCM Core Lead to shape and deliver the design of core HR processes within a Greenfield transformation programme. This role is central to establishing compliant scalable and fully integrated HR operations across Personnel Administration (PA) Organisational Management (OM) and Time Management.
The HCM Core Lead will hold end-to-end accountability for functional design configuration and assurance of SAP HCM in S/4HANA. Working closely with HR leadership Finance and Payroll teams the role ensures that HR master data structures and processes meet business objectives and statutory obligations while supporting seamless integration with wider enterprise solutions.
About the Role
You will act as the functional authority for HCM Core driving solution governance across PA OM and Time. This includes leading Explore workshops to define organisational structures employee lifecycle processes and time evaluation frameworks.
The role will oversee Solution Design WRICEF design testing and data migration while ensuring integration with Payroll Finance and Talent solutions. A key focus will be delivering mock runs reconciliations and cutover planning to provide confidence in HR readiness for go-live. Beyond delivery the role will support capability uplift and knowledge transfer ensuring long-term ownership by HR and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead workshops with HR leadership to capture requirements validate designs and shape the HR core blueprint.
Configure and govern SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration Organisational Management and Time Management.
Define organisational structures position hierarchies employee lifecycle events and absence/attendance rules.
Ensure integration with Payroll (statutory and local) Finance (cost centres postings) and Talent systems.
Oversee WRICEF functional specifications testing scenarios and regression planning.
Support data migration mock conversion runs and cutover planning.
Produce functional documentation configuration guides and process maps.
Mentor consultants and uplift HR technology capability across the organisation.
Experience & Skills Required
Proven track record delivering SAP HCM Core (PA/OM/Time) in S/4HANA Greenfield or large transformation programmes.
Strong expertise in time schemas rules work schedules and evaluation logic.
Solid knowledge of organisational design employee master data and statutory HR compliance.
Familiarity with integration to Payroll Finance and SuccessFactors.
Experience in WRICEF governance functional test cycles and cutover rehearsals.

Qualifications
Degree in HR IT or Business.
SAP HCM certification (preferred).
CIPD or recognised HR process/operations credentials desirable.
Stakeholder & Soft Skills
Strong communicator able to engage confidently with HR Directors Programme Leaders and Business Stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance audit readiness and operational efficiency.
Collaborative leader with proven ability to mentor consultants and guide delivery teams.
Comfortable operating in regulated high-assurance and multi-vendor programme environments.
