The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th 2026 - July 31st 2026).
Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Familys culture including our core values: Consideration Cooperation Communication Innovation and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.
We are looking for a talentedGraphic Design Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain professional design experience at one of the best companies to work for in South Florida. The graphic design intern will be supporting the creative team within JM&A Groups Marketing Department by delivering effective on-brand and on-strategy creative deliverables. The ideal candidate needs to be passionate about design and delivering meaningful design enthusiastic about innovation and a self-starter comfortable working with new technology who excels in a multitude of disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize design software and technology to create and design print and digital collateral
- Adhere to brand guidelines
- Retouch and manipulate images
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver engaging designs
- Explore and design innovative social media graphics
- Use project management tool effectively to track deliverables and route proofs
- Manage workload deadlines and quality of work produced
- Support the design and development of the End of Internship Presentation
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program
- This is a full-time hybrid internship
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program with a focus on Graphic Design Motion Graphics or Animation
- Completed at least 2 semesters of study at an accredited college university or design institute
- Relevant completed coursework required
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking required
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required
- Knowledge of UX and design principles
- Willingness to learn research and bring great ideas to the table
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
