• Raytheons Advanced Technology (AT) strategic business unit is one agile team developing key discriminators for our core products and capturing attractive adjacent market share to enable new capabilities that defeat our Warfighters threats.

• Our Advanced Technology SBU Engineering Team is hiring for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support an Advanced Air Weapon System program as the Systems Performance & Test Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) from contract award through successful flight test execution.

What you will do

• Perform as the Control Account Manager executing Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Provide the technical execution leadership required to integrate & test verify qualify and deliver an air vehicle that complies with performance requirements and Design To Cost targets.

• Lead a cross functional test team that includes Integration & Test Test Equipment Systems Software Simulation & Performance Safety Logistics & Reliability responsibilities.

• Communicate program status performance results accomplishments issues and help needed to executive and/or functional leadership program leadership and government stakeholders.

• Engage and coordinate with all programs within the portfolio for alignment

• Actively work to identify manage and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.

Qualifications you must have

• Typically requires a bachelors degree in a Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline such as Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering Physics or Math and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Integration Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and/or Risk and Opportunity Management.

• Bench testing platform integration and flight test planning and execution experience Experience with hardware components as well as tactical and test software

• Experience with air vehicle assembly integration verification validation and/or product qualification environments.

• Experience in at least a medium size program execution Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams Experience as a CAM specifically managing budgets schedule Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and financial performance report generation.

• Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualification we prefer

• 5 yrs of experience as a CAM

• Experience with SW development and performance verification processes

• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams Experience with Aircraft integration

• Experience with EVMS certification Program Management certification or equivalent to Raytheon PM Level 6 certification Experience with communication with the customer both formal and informal

• Experience with proposal capture and contract processes from receipt of RFP preparing Basis of Estimates proposal submittal preparing Statements of Work contract startup and contract close-out.

  The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
