Job Summary

Fantastic Opportunity - Great Company! Our client is a steel processing & supply company that providesservices including laser plasma & oxy cutting folding rolling and fabrication and they are seeking to appoint a Senior Estimator for their facility in Melbournes Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering customer inquiries and customer pricing information via phone or email in a timely manner
Understand and interpret customer requirements; including drawings written specs and resolving customer problems when required.
Prepare estimates and quotations using computerised quotation spreadsheets and Pulse ERP Software
Working closely and communicating with all the internal team members to ensure a smooth process and execution of all jobs
Job costing and invoicing including estimating margins labour requirements/costs and delivery costs

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelors degree or Equivalent (Construction Management Civil Engineering Architectural or Mechanical)
Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction/structural drawings
Extensive experience in production planning estimating and Sigmanest
Knowledge of steel industry is highly regarded
Knowledge of M1 (ERP system) will be highly regarded
Excellent communication skills/relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders
Meticulous eye for detail
