Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will facilitate the modeling simulation and analysis of concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assess MDS threats capability gaps challenges needs and opportunities to develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level.
• Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above including analysis efforts on DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) system.
• Develop analysis plans execute M&S to implement those plans assess analysis results prepare analysis briefs/reports and provide reviews of analysis products.
• Facilitate the definition/implementation of future concepts for modeling simulation and analysis.
• Act as a subject-matter expert in future concept definition architecture analysis and the review of preliminary results prior to delivery to the customer.

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

• Masters Degree in a STEM Field with 12 years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex large DoD program/project
• Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
• Experience in modeling assessment and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
• Experience with MATLAB

What Desired Skills Youll Bring:

• Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures.
• Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts.
• Experience with HPC Systems Python and Git.
• Experience with BMD Benchmark.
• Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities.
• Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies.
• Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization trajectories RF sensing/signatures and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures.
• Proven ability to coauthor numerous reports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress.
• Experience serving as a key advisor and collaborating on products that may go outside the Agency such as DoD Services Combatant Commands industry experts etc.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
