Job Summary
How youll make an impact
In this role youll provide crucial chairside support to our clinicians ensuring every patient enjoys a smooth positive experience from start to finish. Youll play a key role in creating a calm welcoming environment while helping the practice run efficiently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly professional manner
- Assisting dentists during procedures ensuring proper instrument handling and patient comfort
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments according to strict infection control protocols
- Collaborating with the dental team to maintain smooth operations and excellent patient care
- Promoting a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues
Qualifications :
Your experience and approach
Your greatest asset is a positive can-do attitude and strong team spirit. While previous dental experience is a bonus its not required we value excellent communication attention to detail and a patient-first mindset. The ability to speak additional languages is also a plus helping us connect with Christchurchs diverse community.
You should have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred but not required)
- A friendly enthusiastic and detail-oriented approach to work
- Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a positive team environment
