Position Description:

The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery section of Community General Surgery is seeking a candidate for a Faculty Appointment as a General Surgeon. This position is within the Community General Surgical group which serves both Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend hospitals. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Position Highlights

Position Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD DO or equivalent)from an accredited institution.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in General Surgery (additional Surgical Critical Care board certification/eligible preferred but not necessary).
• State medical licensure or eligibility to obtain license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
• Candidates must have interest in developing a Elective General Surgical practice based primarily at FMF hospital but includes time conducting elective general surgery clinic at Froedtert Hospital and surgery at the Froedtert Ambulatory Surgery Center. This includes access to robot-assisted platforms as well.
