Job Summary

Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European the space of 4 years it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa Middle-East and India and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance but also Human Resources.


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW


The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This role is fundamental to identifying analyzing and implementing process improvement projects that result in efficiency gains cost reduction and improved service quality. The ideal candidate possesses the Green Belt certification and a passion for solving complex problems through data


  • C-Imp Project Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end Continuous Improvement (C-Imp) projects applying the DMAIC methodology (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control).

  • Lean Six Sigma Application: Apply Lean tools and principles (e.g. Value Stream Mapping 5S Visual Management) and Six Sigma principles (statistics and variance analysis) to optimize internal processes.

  • Data Analysis: Collect analyze and interpret process performance data to identify the root cause of problems and quantify the impact of proposed solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment buy-in and sustainability of implemented changes.

  • Training and Coaching: Act as a mentor and coach for operational teams in applying basic continuous improvement principles

  • Documentation: Create robust process documentation (AS-IS and TO-BE) and control plans to ensure that improvement gains are sustained

Are you a MATCH


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting Finance Engineering Management HR or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in continuous improvement operational excellence or project management roles

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (Mandatory)

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab) and process mapping tools (e.g. Visio Lucidchart).

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Focus on achieving quantifiable results and business value through improvement

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to different levels of audience (operational to executive)

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking
