Job Summary
The team you will join: Alpine Money Movement
The Alpine Money Movement team is a brand new high-impact crew focused on delivering the quickest most convenient and cheapest money transfers across Switzerland and the Nordic region.
Our Focus & Impact:
Building Direct Access: We work on new direct integrations with local payment systems. Your focus will be on launching high-impact direct access first for Swiss Franc (CHF) and Swedish Krona (SEK).
Operational Excellence: Maintain scale and optimise existing infrastructure. Youll work to constantly reduce risk and improve system resilience collaborating with operations and banking teams to drive efficiency and low costs.
Global Relocator Experience: Contribute to the companys worldwide mission of building the #1 account for international relocators. We build features that make the financial transition to any new country seamless for customers globally.

Qualifications :
What does it take
5 years of experience Java Kotlin or other JVM based language experience with Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
A strong product mindset and passion for user experience you prioritise work with the customers in mind and make data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
Being able to work independently on customer problems is a key to success - you take responsibility and end-to-end ownership of your projects: drive and own them to make sure we hit the goals we want to achieve
Close collaboration with product managers data scientists data analysts engineers and other product teams is a must have and is something to expect to happen on a daily basis.
Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audience
Experience working with relational query optimisation and designing schemas
You enjoy writing testable code
You believe in and follow best coding practices code reviews and open feedback.
