Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-consciousDOT Truck Driverto join our transportation team. This position involvesdaily trips within a 200-mile radiusof the assigned plant ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and vendors. Drivers return home dailyno overnight travel required.

Essential Functions:

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Load secure transport and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate driver logs delivery records and inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch customers and plant personnel.
• Adhere to all safety protocols traffic laws and company procedures.
• Report any incidents delays or mechanical issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum2 years of commercial driving experiencepreferred.
• CurrentDOT Medical Card.
• Strong knowledge ofDOT regulationsand local/state traffic laws.
• Ability to lift up to50 lbsand perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to sit in truck for 1-2 hours at a time
• Ability to climb ladder (3) steps to get in truck
• Climb ladder on back of truck (4) steps to get into box
• Lift gate of box truck to open and close approx. 30#s
• Lift dock gate manually; chain you pull to lift approx. 30# of pull
• Install load bars 30# - helps keep load stable while truck is moving
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking pushing/pulling reaching and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting kneeling and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws bolts and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
