  • Schedule: Monday Friday 12P-7:30P Saturday 11A-4P (Full-Time)

The Proximity Marketing Manager will cost-effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through the local proximity program while managing to set and stay within a determined budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of proximity agents with a direct hands-on approach provides motivation and coaching to help the team reach daily weekly and monthly goals.

  • Recruits hires and trains proximity agents through cost-effective recruiting tools including partnering with temporary agencies when appropriate.

  • Oversees all proximity marketing field activities including training role playing daily meetings field supervision and motivating team members.

  • Creates and develops the culture of the local proximity team through personal role modeling desired behaviors and techniques.

  • Monitors and coaches every team member to ensure they are following proper procedures scripts and customer service guidelines.

  • In partnership with the marketing leadership team creates an annual budget with the sole purpose of generating qualified leads and appointments through proximity efforts.

  • Provides timely tracking and entering of marketing data into the corporate database.

  • Administrative tasks include: coordinating proximity logistics with mapping and tracking permit logistics script and flyer maintenance organizing field lead sheets and verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.

  • Provides information to supervisors co-workers and subordinates by telephone in written form email or in person on neighborhoods and cities where Renewal by Andersens products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads and appointments.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-3yrs of Canvassing Experience w/ a Record of Meeting or Exceeding Targets

  • At least 1-3yrs of Supervisory/Leadership Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing or Related Field is a Plus

  • Prior Experience within the Construction or Home improvement Industry is a Plus

  • Ability to think strategically with strong project management skills including attention to detail.

  • Ability to self-manage resources (time and budget) to achieve objectives.

  • Ability to analyze the effectiveness of the proximity program and proximity team.

  • Ability to understand the role of marketing communications sales promotion and advertising.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as analytic skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel.
