Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process providing exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients real estate agents and other referral sources.
- Assess clients financial situations and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the loan process providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations related to mortgage lending.
- Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and changes in lending regulations.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to facilitate timely loan approvals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mortgage lending or a related financial field.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products underwriting guidelines and loan processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using mortgage software and technology tools.
