Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant - St. Peters Hospital
St. Peters Hospital has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant responsible to collaborate with our Occupational Therapists to manage a caseload of patients requiring occupational therapy in an inpatient setting.
Highlights:
What you will do:
- Primary responsibilities include working as a part of a team to manage a caseload of patients requiringoccupational therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes/provides occupational therapy services to patients at the hospital to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning.
- Evaluates and treats individuals with functional deficits secondary to neurologic orthopedic and medical conditions.
What you will need:
- NYS OTA Licensure
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Strong ability to assess priorities
- High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients families and coworkers
- Excellent customer service skills
Pay Range : $24.85 - $31.00Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
