As a part of our dynamic team you will collaborate with international colleagues spanning the globe engaging with stakeholders in our US and UK headquarters as well as across our 10 other markets. Our commitment to cross-functional collaboration is paramount; you will work closely with our functional pillars in CNT covering Product Engineering Architecture Design UX and Data. Additionally you will collaborate with our business partners in Consumer Marketing Commercial Licensing Editorial and Brand embodying our emphasis on seamless teamwork and holistic innovation.

The Role

Our understanding of the audiences who consume our products the contributors who shape them and the landscape in which we operate is fundamental to the success of our design and product experiences.

We are looking for an Associate UX Researcher to join the Condé Nast UX Research team. Based in London they will support research initiatives across our global portfolio of brands to uncover behaviours motivations and insights that help shape intuitive and inspiring digital experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stage of their UX research career who is naturally curious motivated and eager to this role you will gain exposure to a wide range of brands audiences and research methods building your skills in understanding user behaviour and translating insight into meaningful product improvements.

Research Support and Execution

  • Work hands-on across a range of projects from discovery research to usability testing helping to plan conduct and analyse studies that turn user insight into actionable direction for Condé Nast.

  • Assist with research setup participant recruitment and study logistics across both web and app experiences.

  • Observe sessions take detailed notes and contribute to data analysis summarising findings into clear actionable recommendations for design and product teams.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with Designers Product Managers Analysts and other cross-functional teams across Condé Nast to ensure user insights drive design and product decisions.

  • Participate in workshops ideation sessions and cross-brand initiatives that connect research to business and audience goals.

  • Contribute to reports and presentations that make insights engaging actionable and accessible for stakeholders at all levels

  • Help maintain and organise research documentation insights libraries and knowledge repositories to support visibility and reusability across teams.

Learning and Growth

  • Gain hands-on experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative methods guided by an experienced research team.

  • Develop skills in connecting behavioural and emotional insights to strategic opportunities.

  • Build a deep understanding of Condé Nast audiences across lifestyle fashion travel culture and shopping brands.

  • Contribute to improving research operations and self-serve frameworks to scale best practices globally

What will you be doing

As a researcher you are curious about people and passionate about understanding what drives their decisions and behaviours. You thrive on exploring complex questions and turning insight into purposeful action that helps teams design and build with clarity and intent.

You are comfortable with ambiguity and see challenges as opportunities to learn adapt and simplify. Highly organised and detail-oriented you collaborate naturally with others and are motivated by solving real user problems.

You champion the customer voice and believe that meaningful user-led insight should shape every decision. You have a genuine interest in design media and technology and are driven to help create experiences that feel trustworthy intuitive and human

Who you are:

  • Some professional academic or internship experience in UX research usability testing or related disciplines.

  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews surveys or usability studies.

  • Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to summarise findings clearly.
    Attention to detail organisation and curiosity about how people interact with digital products.
    A collaborative and proactive approach to work.

  • A passion for learning and developing new skills in a supportive research environment.

It Would Be a Bonus To Have

  • Experience using research tools such as and Dovetail

  • Experience conducting or assisting with usability studies or interviews.

  • Familiarity with digital content publishing or e-commerce environments.

  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

  • Comfort working across time zones with distributed teams.
