Were seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our Cape Coral dispensary team! In this role youll support the General Manager with daily operations team development and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Youll also step into a leadership role when needed to maintain smooth operations achieve sales goals and uphold compliance standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily dispensary operations
Supervise and coach staff to maintain high standards of service compliance and teamwork
Deliver excellent customer experiences by providing product knowledge and guidance
Oversee POS transactions cash handling and daily deposits with accuracy and integrity
Ensure compliance with company policies security protocols and state cannabis regulations
Maintain store appearance organization and safety standards
Assist with product ordering inventory counts and accurate recordkeeping
Help plan and execute promotions events and community engagement efforts
Prepare and review daily weekly and monthly reports related to sales inventory and staff performance
Step in as acting General Manager when needed to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or 25 years of management or supervisory experience (retail or hospitality preferred; cannabis industry experience a plus)
Proven ability to lead teams motivate employees and drive sales goals
Strong understanding of compliance cash handling and operational procedures
Excellent communication organization and conflict-resolution skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and POS/inventory management systems
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be 21 years or older and eligible to work within state cannabis regulations
- Ability to pass drug testing and Level 2 Florida State background check
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand walk sit reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
