Your role:

Your key duties and responsibilities

- Ensure accurate general ledger accounting in compliance with national and international accounting standards (OIC/IFRS)

- Manage periodic tax obligations (VAT corporate income taxes withholding taxes tax returns)

- Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements

- Assist in monthly quarterly and annual closing activities

- Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations assessing their impact on the company

- Manage relationships with external consultants auditors and tax authorities

- Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to ensure proper application of tax regulations across business processes

- Contribute to the improvement of accounting and tax processes including ERP system optimization

- Contribute to manage accounting aspects relating to HR management

Your skills experience and qualifications required

- Masters degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)

- 35 years of experience in accounting and tax preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)

- In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)

- Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools

- Accuracy analytical skills and attention to detail

- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

- Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English

- Availability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia-Romagna
