Maintenance Coordinator:

Position Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Manager
Department: Logistics
Location:Leduc
Position Type: Full Time
Position Summary:
A Maintenance Coordinator has responsibilities within KBLs Leduc shop which includes and is not limited to scheduling assigning resources and coordinating maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. They act as a liaison between the maintenance team management and other departments focusing on preventative maintenance work order management and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong organizational and planning skills: Ability to create and manage schedules prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software: Ability to learn teach and manage KBLs CMMS
- Scheduling and Coordination: Develops and implements maintenance schedules assigns tasks to maintenance personnel and coordinates the timely completion of work orders.
- Work Order Management: Processes and tracks work orders ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately and maintains detailed records.
- Vendor Management: Liaises with external vendors for specialized maintenance services negotiates contracts and manages service agreements
- Communication and Reporting: Communicates effectively with maintenance staff management and other departments regarding maintenance activities issues and performance.
- Inventory Management: Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Schedule repairs at 3rd party locations when required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including mechanical/shop staff management and vendors.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently in a timely manner.
- Prior experience in maintenance services or service writer is required.
