Work Location: Vancouver British Columbia; on-site
Work Schedule: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week) Monday Friday; business hours
Engagement Model: Employment; fixed-term/temporary
DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for aLanguage Data Annotator with fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) to join our team in Vancouver! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology.
This role requires a high level of independence adaptation and accuracy love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role!
Role Summary
Language Data Annotatorwill focus on speech or text recognition input methods keyboard/swipe technology or other areas of human-machine interaction related to languages.
No previous experience or training in the field is required - we will teach you all you need to know.
Role Responsibilities
Transcription - create written copies of live speech or dictated audio
Data labeling - identify and label the properties of what you transcribe
Data classification - categorize provided data into different criteria
Data entry - following provided company guidelines input the data and information
Job requirements
Idiomatic fluency in Portuguese (Brazil)
Eligible to work in Canada
Must be of legal age (18)
Located within a reasonable commuting distance to our Vancouver office
Great reading and comprehension skills
Ability to meet daily KPIs
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently
Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
Ability to track analyze and report issues
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) for duration of the project
Ability to understand and implement feedback
Detail-oriented and comfortable with repetitive tasks
Batchelor degree or equivalent
