About this position
Your role as Director of Sales Engineering is a cornerstone of Tree-Nations next stage of growth. Youll be the main sales leader in the company owning revenue generation leading outbound strategy managing key client relationships and building the infrastructure that enables scalable tech-enabled growth.
But this isnt a classic sales leadership role.
To succeed youll need more than just commercial instincts youll need engineering literacy and an AI-native mindset. Our product is deeply technical (API-driven SaaS-integrated automation-ready) and our future depends on building a hybrid sales engine where AI agents humans work together to drive impact.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to lead sales and shape the companys technical growth culture from the inside.
What youll do
Lead and scale our B2B sales engine shifting from inbound to a high-performance outbound model.
Build and manage a hybrid sales team: people AI. Youll be expected to develop and integrate AI agents directly into the sales process.
Own the full outbound process: strategy tooling targeting messaging metrics.
Drive mid-market and enterprise growth across Europe the US and Asia.
Solve our biggest bottleneck: client software integration. Work cross-functionally to ensure our product connects seamlessly with client systems.
Collaborate closely with product and tech to turn platform features into simple sellable narratives.
Maintain rigorous CRM systems workflows and reporting not just familiarity but mastery.
Represent Tree-Nation in key deals and negotiations.
Report to the CEO. Youll be the owner of revenue.
What youll bring
Proven B2B sales leadership in SaaS or tech ideally from zero to scale.
Deep experience in outbound sales systems automation and funnel optimization.
Fluency in English; other languages (e.g. Spanish or French) are a plus.
Hands-on CRM expertise HubSpot or equivalent including automation pipeline architecture custom workflows and advanced reporting.
High technical literacy. You understand APIs client integrations and the friction points that matter.
Experience bridging product tech and sales to build smooth onboarding and integration paths.
Bonus: Youve built or actively used AI agents in sales workflows and can lead that development.
Strong plus: STEM background it aligns well with our product culture.
