Job Summary

FenX is a spin-off from ETH Zurich. We tackle the worlds energy and greenhouse gas challenge by bringing technology and innovation to the building insulation market. Our first impact product is a high-performance building insulation panel incorporating mineral waste materials. It is cost effective fully recyclable and has a low CO2 footprint.

At FenX every day offers a new opportunity to shape the future. To support our Technical Team we are looking for a talented and passionate intern with knowledge in materials.

Tasks

Co-development of porous minerals production of prototypes quality control.
Transfer of R&D formulations to the prototyping plant.
Material characterization and support on material certification.
Planning and improvement of prototype production processes.
Support on operating and maintaining the prototyping line.
Support of the technical team on other issues as required.

Requirements

Ideally ETH/FH materials science mechanical or civil engineering with knowledge/ passion for ceramic and cementitious materials
Impact driven person with a passion for innovation
Hands-on attitude and technical understanding
Systematic problem-solving skills
Team-oriented and reliable
English and ideally German proficiency
Knowledge in Arduino Raspberry Pi Python CAD is a plus
Swiss work permit
