Qualifications: Container markup is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of empty packaging containers ensuring accurate labeling and marking and supporting various printing tasks to maintain smooth production operations. This role is critical in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace through adherence to 5S principles. Minimum Qualifications: Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Manufacturing experience preferred. Special skills Mixer/Blender experience preferred. Certifications and licenses Forklift. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Container Management: o Safely and efficiently move empty 55-gallon containers and other packaging containers to designated areas within the drum markup area. o Organize and stack empty containers to optimize space utilization and maintain clear aisles. o Monitor inventory levels of empty containers and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor. Printing and Labeling: o Operate and maintain label printers to generate necessary labels barcodes and other identification for various packaging containers. o Ensure print quality and accuracy of all printed materials. o Load and unload printer consumables (e.g. paper ink/ribbons). o Perform basic troubleshooting of printing equipment and report complex issues to maintenance. Marking and Identification: o Accurately mark stencil or label various packaging containers according to production orders quality control specifications or shipping requirements. o Verify that all markings are legible correct and applied to the proper container type. o Maintain a clean and organized marking station ensuring all tools and supplies are readily available. General Support: o Assist with general warehouse or production duties as needed. o Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. o Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. 5S Initiatives: Sort Set in Order Shine Standardize and Sustain the drum markup area
