Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Renal Vascular Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with renal and vascular conditions utilizing strong clinical judgment effective communication and a collaborative approach within an interdisciplinary team.
You will play a key role in assessing planning implementing and evaluating individualized patient care plans in a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze comprehensive data pertinent to each patients health status and clinical situation.
- Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively in accordance with established protocols.
- Advocate for patient safety and quality care throughout the continuum of care.
- Educate patients and families about conditions medications treatments and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments interventions and patient progress.
- Efficiently manage resources including time supplies and equipment to support effective patient care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold hospital policies and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of acute care RN experience required (all RN experience considered).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or Multistate Compact License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Education:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS AHA) required prior to start.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.
