Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Renal Vascular Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with renal and vascular conditions utilizing strong clinical judgment effective communication and a collaborative approach within an interdisciplinary team.

You will play a key role in assessing planning implementing and evaluating individualized patient care plans in a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze comprehensive data pertinent to each patients health status and clinical situation.
Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment findings.
Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively in accordance with established protocols.
Advocate for patient safety and quality care throughout the continuum of care.
Educate patients and families about conditions medications treatments and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments interventions and patient progress.
Efficiently manage resources including time supplies and equipment to support effective patient care.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold hospital policies and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of acute care RN experience required (all RN experience considered).
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or Multistate Compact License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
Education:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS AHA) required prior to start.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment.
