About the job
Advantra is partnering with a mid-stage contact center technology startup in Phoenix to hire an Application Developer to build and maintain Genesys Pure Engage on-prem integrations and DevOps tooling.
About the role
You will develop and maintain Genesys Pure Engage on-prem components including Configuration Server Stat Server Interaction Concentrators and Solution Control Servers. The role involves debugging distributed systems integrating APIs and microservices and building automation tools with Go and Python. You will ensure system reliability optimize workflows and support DevOps operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Genesys Pure Engage on-prem platform components.
- Debug and troubleshoot distributed systems and performance issues.
- Integrate Genesys components with APIs and microservices.
- Automate DevOps workflows using Go and Python scripts.
- Monitor and optimize Configuration Server Stat Server and ICON performance.
- Maintain Solution Control Servers and Message Server operations.
- Support Genesys Administrator Extension (GAX) configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability.
- Document deployment and operational procedures.
Core requirements
- 5 years of experience with Genesys Pure Engage on-prem.
- Experience with Configuration Server Stat Server ICON and SCS components.
- Proficiency in Go and Python development.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Knowledge of API and microservices integration.
- Experience with automation of DevOps workflows.
- Familiarity with Genesys Administrator Extension (GAX).
- Experience with messaging servers and platform monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills in enterprise contact center environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with Genesys Cloud or hybrid deployments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools for contact center systems.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Knowledge of cloud integration patterns.
- Scripting expertise in Bash or Shell.
