Job Description
The CT Technologist under the direction of a radiologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The CT Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. This requires independent judgment ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis whether scheduled or emergent while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. The CT Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Departments Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. He/she will also participate in the clinical activities including call within the outlined department

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or
Within 1 year of hire National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred Qualifications:
1-year general radiology experience.
