Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SAP FI/CO Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our growing Shoring Presales and Solutioning team in India. This role is integral in supporting global solutioning efforts by contributing deep functional knowledge in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules during the presales and proposal phases. As an SME you will assist the Solution Architect in designing and validating robust scalable and compliant financial solutions tailored to client needs across multiple industries. You will be instrumental in supporting RFP responses building solution documentation and ensuring functional alignment within integrated SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-depth expertise in SAP FI (General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders Profitability Analysis etc.).

Collaborate with Solution Architects and functional leads to support the design of comprehensive end-to-end SAP solutions during presales engagements.

Participate in discovery sessions requirement analysis and client calls to gather and interpret finance-related business needs.

Create solution documents process flows and contribute to proposal responses including effort estimation and functional write-ups.

Ensure that financial solution components are aligned with industry best practices SAP guidelines and customer-specific compliance/regulatory standards.

Support the build-out of reusable solution assets accelerators and estimation templates specific to FI/CO.

Stay current with SAP innovations in Finance (e.g. S/4HANA Finance Central Finance Group Reporting) and bring relevant insights into solutioning.

Provide support during oral presentations demos or technical reviews when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or related field (CA ICWA MBA).

6 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and/or support roles.

At least 1 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects in a functional or solution design capacity.

Strong understanding of finance process integration with modules like MM SD and PP.

Working knowledge of S/4HANA Finance (preferably with exposure to migration projects).

Experience in presales or exposure to proposal work is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication documentation and collaboration skills.

SAP FI/CO certification is a plus.

Strong skills in solution documentation presentations and client-facing discussions.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across multi-cultural geographically distributed teams.

Experience supporting presales activities writing solution narratives and contributing to proposals is highly preferred
