Responsibilities:
- Assessing potential suppliers based on their capabilities quality systems and adherence to industry standards.
- Ensuring that suppliers understand and can meet the specific dimensional and performance requirements for gear toothing including pitch tooth profile hardness and surface finish.
- Working with suppliers to optimize their gear manufacturing processes including gear cutting heat treatment and grinding to improve quality and efficiency.
- Collaborating with suppliers to establish and improve their quality management systems.
- Developing and implementing inspection plans to verify the quality of gears including dimensional checks gear testing and non-destructive testing.
- Monitoring supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure ongoing quality and delivery performance.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain by fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers by fostering open communication trust and collaboration.
- Ensuring suppliers comply with applicable industry standards regulations and customer-specific requirements
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks within the supply chain such as capacity constraints supplier instability or changes in regulatory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to suppliers to help them enhance their capabilities improve quality and meet customer expectations.

- Educational Qualification: B Tech (Mech)
- Experience: 3-5 Years
