Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Day & Night Shifts Guaranteed 36 Hours Quick Start Alabama

Location: Multiple Genesis-affiliated facilities across Alabama (including Cottage of the Shoals Tuscumbia AL)

Pay & Shift Details

Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM $18/hr base pay Up to $27/hr with overtime (time and a half)
Night Shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM $20/hr base pay Up to $30/hr with overtime (time and a half)
Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
Every other weekend required
Contract Duration: 6 13 weeks with strong potential for extension
Employment Type: Contract / PRN

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at multiple Genesis-affiliated long-term care and rehabilitation facilities across Alabama.
This role offers stable hours guaranteed schedules competitive pay and opportunities for both newly certified CNAs and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide daily personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and feeding
Assist residents with mobility positioning and transferring safely using appropriate equipment
Observe and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the licensed nurse
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
Support the nursing team in ensuring a clean safe and positive environment for residents
Respond promptly to resident needs and maintain professional compassionate communication
Adhere to infection control procedures and facility safety protocols

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (State of Alabama) new graduates welcome
Must have current photo ID and be eligible to work in the U.S.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts including every other weekend
Dependable team-oriented and patient-focused attitude
