Job Description:

The / Azure Software Developer is responsible for researching designing implementing and maintaining enterprise-grade software solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role involves developing debugging and troubleshooting high-quality high-performance and high-availability applications across multiple platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience Framework Azure services REST APIs and microservices while leveraging modern DevOps and agile development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement scalable secure and high-performing applications Framework and Azure cloud services.
• Research architect and integrate solutions across platforms including Python JavaScript and SQL-based data systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs microservices and event-driven architectures using Azure components (e.g. Azure Functions Service Bus Logic Apps Cosmos DB).
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects DevOps Engineers QA Engineers Project Managers Information Security Engineers and Delivery Managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Enterprise (GHE) for CI/CD version control and deployment pipelines.
• Write and maintain unit tests ensuring high-quality maintainable code aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues across distributed systems.
• Contribute to both waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies adapting to business and technical needs.
• Responsibly use GitHub Copilot (Enterprise) as a productivity tool ensuring every AI-generated code suggestion is reviewed validated and curated with accountability.
• Participate in code reviews design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 10 years of professional experience software development (.NET Core and/ Framework).
• Proven experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture microservices and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in C# SQL JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Enterprise for source control CI/CD and project management.
• Solid understanding of API design security best practices and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Experience with Cosmos DB Azure SQL Database and NoSQL data modeling.
• Familiarity with Python and front-end frameworks (e.g. React Angular or ).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
• Prior experience working in regulated enterprise environments (e.g. finance insurance healthcare).
