Job Description:

The client is looking for a Senior System Administrator to work in Durham NC. The resource will be responsible as the technical Linux/Windows Admin and maintain UCS servers in a VMware environment.

The client seeks a Application Development Environment for client. The resource will act as the technical Linux/Windows Admin and maintain UCS servers in a VMware environment and requires the ability to work on a fast spaced environment and support and resolve incident tickets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install maintain and upgrade internal computer software systems used for designing and developing company products.
Control user access and passwords
Propose and implement systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
Monitor usage and performance
Train personnel on system usage
Maintain the VMware-based environments Monitor the virtual server infrastructure environments health status.
Be willing to travel at any time to troubleshoot any hardware issues in our data centers in Raleigh and Charlotte area.
Research evaluate and recommend software and hardware products.
Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
Work as a team member in a fast-paced environment 24/7 7 days a week.
On-call support every other week and occasional weekend/holiday work required
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
